Review topics
Topics are assigned to records by the archive, not by reviewers. Only topics in the curated list get a page, so the archive does not spawn a page for every phrase a reviewer happens to use.
- Outcome Records that state what happened in the end: a profile reinstated, an account restored, a listing back online. Any timeframe or figure quoted in a record is the reviewer's own and has not been independently checked.
- Expertise Records that assess subject knowledge and how methodically the work was done, as distinct from how it felt to deal with.
- Google Business Profile reinstatement Records where the reviewer's Google Business Profile had been suspended, disabled or removed, and the review describes the appeal and reinstatement work that followed.
- Speed of resolution Records that comment on how long the work took, usually measured against how long the reviewer had already spent on the problem themselves.
- Guidance and explanation Records where the reviewer describes being walked through the problem: what Google had flagged, why, what documents were needed, and what to do differently afterwards.
- SEO advice and audits Records about search engine optimisation work rather than account recovery: audits, rankings, keyword and content advice.
- Communication Records about how the reviewer was kept informed: response times, whether updates arrived without chasing, and whether the reviewer understood what was happening.
- Strategy and approach Records about how the work was planned rather than what it produced: the campaign designed, the order things were done in, and what was recommended against as well as for.
- Value for money Records that weigh the fee against what was delivered. Records reaching the opposite conclusion belong here too.
- Trust and straight answers Records where the reviewer comments on candour rather than competence: being told the awkward thing, not being upsold, and getting a straight answer to a direct question. The phrase "I recommend him" is the convention of a review and does not put a record here on its own.
- Merchant Center and Shopping suspension Records about a suspended Google Merchant Center account or Google Shopping listings, which are served out of Merchant Center. This is a separate Google product from the Business Profile, with its own policies and its own appeal route.
- Google Ads account suspension Records where a Google Ads account was suspended alongside another Google property, and the reviewer describes that part of the engagement.
