Methodology

How records enter the archive

Every record states where the review originally appeared and what SearchScope did and did not verify. Favourable and critical material are handled identically.

Read the review methodology

  • 60 records, each naming the platform the review was first published on.
  • Original source links are kept where available, with the date they were last checked.
  • Publication dates and the reviewed entity are stored with every record.
  • The original reviewer is distinguished from the archive publisher throughout.
  • Critical records are kept and shown with the same prominence as favourable ones.
  • No score is averaged across platforms that use different rating scales.
